Feel It Out

Feel It Out is an exhibition of new work by Wellington based artists Hana Carpenter and Sam Dollimore.

Hana and sam met last year and quickly formed a creative and personal friendship.

Hana's paintings and Sam's drawings have a compatibility in the curves and forms emerging in the work, as well as with the considered markmaking they both employ. Presenting an ambiguity of form, the works convey a sensual energy both inviting and discomfiting.

In Feel It Out, they use Grey's open and spacious gallery to play with what happens when works are placed close (but not too close!) and new relationships come into view.
